(Super Serious) Comic Book Club

Comic Book Club is a co-working and community building space for students interested in making comic books, webcomics and graphic novels. In this club, we hope to create a space where we can motivate each other and give each other feedback on our projects, while also discussing comics and graphic novels we have read.

This club meets once a week in person, as well as speaking on our active discord group where we announce special events and provide ourselves with a digital forum.

ETCETERA!!

We're a radical crew of creative queers looking for like-minded creatures who want to make conversation-starting, controversial, or otherwise kickass expressive art, design, photography and more: Identity, body positivity, kink, mature education, disability, intimacy, queer love, self love, consent, sensuality, and self representation from people and bodies
that don't get to be seen on white walls.

Open hatred and prejudice towards queer self expression is on the rise at ECUAD, and together we stand against it.

Together we’ll collaborate, share and promote each other's work, publish zines, and raise each other up for our first ever group exhibition.

KACE ECU Dance Club

"ECU KACE" is Emily Carr University's Dance Crew. With a main focus on filming dance covers and choreographies for social media, and an annual winter live performance, aka. Frosty Winter Fest. We are a community of passionate dancers who learn and exchange our knowledge to improve our performance and lift each other up to build a safe space for everyone. We host an audition every semester for those who are interested in joining our dance crew to be in dance covers and live performances; we value commitment, teamwork, communication, and passion for dance in our dancers. However, we also host a monthly workshop when one of our members teaches a piece of choreography, and anyone is welcome to join!

Muslim Student Association

ECUMSA (Emily Carr University Muslim Student Association) strives to create a community for the young Muslims studying at Emily Carr to come together and have a safe space to serve Allah (SWT). The goal is to create a community where we can help our Muslim brothers and sisters on campus in reaching their spiritual and worldly pursuits by creating an Islamic environment for all. Creating this association at Emily Carr will promote diversity, inclusivity, and the well-being of all students. It will serve not only for the needs of Muslim students but also contribute to the overall education and cultural richness of the university environment.
