Spring Clothing and Art Supplies Swap

Back by popular demand and extended for the entire week, we hope you can join us at our spring clothing and art supplies swap.

Outside the Students’ Union space In the cafeteria
Donations can be brought to campus in advance of the event or on the days of the event.
You are invited to come by and take anything you want even if you haven’t donated.
We kindly ask that you consider the condition of the items that you donate and do not donate items if you have had bed bugs. We are also not accepting underwear or bathing suits.
Crafting Utopias
March 2023
The Crafting Utopias is a workshop and space to craft what a different educational experience could be. It can be a space to ask ourselves what are our community values? And a space to create a vision that goes full and beyond what is accessible to us: a space to imagine our possible futures.
Parnian will be hosting the workshop with all of you through a collective vision setting practice with prompts that will open up conversations and create a space to imagine why we all came to study at Emily Carr in the first place. As the Emily Carr Students’ Union (ECSU) prepares for necessary changes and shifts within our school community and culture, we as students can help influence and shape the direction, goals, and priorities ECSU advocates for, and acts upon. This workshop is the initial steps your Students’ Union is taking to create strategic planning.
We have 4 events, two of which are open to faculty and alumni. The in-person events will be served with drinks and snacks.

The ECSU is active in the community life at Emily Carr. We host our own events and regularly partner with the university to co-host events throughout the year. We bring students together across disciplines and try to make sure that having fun is also a part of being here.
